OPEN MEETING IN CHURCH REGARDING THE VISION FOR BISHOP RIDLEY CHURCH
On Tuesday 23rd September there was an Open Meeting in church for all church members to discuss and develop the vision for Bishop Ridley Church. At the PCC Awayday at the end of June, the PCC agreed a new Mission Statement, Vision Statement together with 6 Key Values to support the vision.

Our Targets/Goals for 2013
• Increase regular adult Sunday attendance to 160 (with 50% coming from new Christians) and a minimum of 50% (80) in home groups

• Evaluate and implement a discipleship programme for the church
o identify & nurture gifts & ministries
o every member involvement

• Establish leadership teams in the following areas of church life (at least):
o pastoral
o prayer ministry
o mission and outreach
o worship
o youth and children
o communication

• Improve our finances so that 25% of our income is given away in mission and outreach

• Establish a midweek service (fresh expressions style)

• Start a drop-in by the station

• Undertake a community survey to identify needs and implement a programme a to meet them
