Welcome to our Website

Bishop Ridley Church is an all-age community of local Christians, situated at The Green in Falconwood, Welling.  Our vicar is the Reverend Tim Hatwell.

There is a warm welcome for everyone here.  If you are new to the area, or want to find out more about God and Church, then feel free to come and join us. 

We meet on Sunday mornings in the Church and also during the week in Home Groups. 

There are two Sunday Services:

9am Holy Communion

A quiet, contemplative service where we use traditional liturgy.

10.30am Morning Worship

This is an all-age service, with music, worship and teaching. During the sermon, children can go to our Sunday Club.  Once a month, we also have Baptisms during this service, and (on a different Sunday) our Uniformed Groups join us for Parade Service.  All 10.30 services use powerpoint presentations, making it easy to follow.  Refreshments are served after the service and there is also an opportunity at this time to talk or pray with members of our Pastoral Team.

Bishop Ridley Church belongs to the Church of England and is part of the Diocese of Rochester and Erith Deanery.   We are also members of the Evangelical Alliance and Churches Together Welling & Bexleyheath.
